1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NinjaX ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all users of the App.

NinjaX is developed and operated by CryptonStudio ("we," "us," or "our").

2. Description of Service

NinjaX is an Android application that helps users track recurring subscriptions, receive renewal alerts, analyze spending patterns, and initiate cancellation actions. The App offers:

• The Scout (Free): Subscription dashboard, manual entry, renewal alerts, free trial tracking, spend analytics, home screen widget, and direct cancellation links.
• The Mercenary (Pro): All Scout features plus AI-powered cancellation email drafting, unlimited subscription tracking, smart auto-detection, and zero ads.

3. License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use NinjaX for personal financial management purposes on your Android device(s), subject to these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App's source code or binaries
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App to develop a competing product
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels in the App
• Use the App for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to bypass or circumvent any Pro feature verification or licensing mechanism

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of subscription information you enter into the App
• Any cancellation actions you take based on information provided by NinjaX
• Verifying that a subscription has been successfully cancelled with the service provider
• Ensuring that AI-drafted cancellation emails are reviewed and accurate before sending
• Keeping your device secure and protecting access to the App
• Complying with all applicable laws regarding your subscriptions and financial obligations

5. Important Disclaimer — Financial Information

NinjaX is a personal subscription tracking and management tool. It is not a financial advisor, bank, or regulated financial service. Specifically:

• NinjaX does not guarantee the accuracy of renewal dates, prices, or subscription statuses
• You should always verify cancellation with the service provider directly
• AI-drafted cancellation emails are suggestions only — review before sending
• NinjaX is not responsible for charges that occur despite using the App
• Subscription detection via notification access is best-effort and may not capture all transactions

6. Notification Access Permission

The Pro tier's auto-detection feature requires Android's NotificationListenerService permission. By granting this permission, you acknowledge that:

• The App will read notifications from a pre-approved list of financial apps only
• This data is processed on-device and never transmitted to our servers
• You can revoke this permission at any time via Android Settings
• Revoking the permission disables auto-detection but does not affect other App functionality

7. AI Email Drafting

The Pro AI cancellation email feature uses third-party AI services. By using this feature, you acknowledge:

• Only the subscription service name is transmitted to generate the email draft
• AI-generated emails are drafts — you are responsible for reviewing them before sending
• NinjaX does not send emails on your behalf — all emails are sent from your own email client
• The quality of AI-drafted emails may vary; we make no guarantee of cancellation success
• We are not responsible for any outcome resulting from sending an AI-drafted email

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use NinjaX to:

• Harass, threaten, or intimidate subscription service providers
• Send false, misleading, or fraudulent cancellation requests
• Violate the terms of service of any subscription provider
• Conduct any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international laws
• Attempt to abuse or overload our Firebase Cloud Functions or AI services

9. Pro Subscription & Refunds

NinjaX Pro ("The Mercenary") is offered as an annual auto-renewing subscription:

• Pricing: ₹499/year (India) or equivalent in your local currency. Prices may vary by region.
• Auto-renewal: Your Pro subscription renews automatically each year unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: Cancel anytime via Google Play → Subscriptions. You retain Pro access until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds: All purchases are processed through Google Play Billing. Refund requests are governed by Google Play's refund policy. We do not process refunds directly.
• Pro access restoration: Pro features are linked to your Google Play account and can be restored on any Android device using the same account.

10. Advertising (Free Tier)

The free version of NinjaX displays advertisements through Google AdMob. By using the free version, you consent to the display of advertisements. Purchasing Pro removes all advertising permanently.

11. Intellectual Property

NinjaX, its name, logo, design, source code, and all associated content are the exclusive property of CryptonStudio, protected by copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

Your subscription data remains your property. We claim no rights over any personal financial information you enter or manage in the App.

12. Third-Party Services

NinjaX integrates with the following third-party services, each governed by their own terms and privacy policies:

• Google Play Billing — payment processing
• RevenueCat — subscription management and verification
• Google AdMob — advertising (free tier only)
• Firebase (Google) — Cloud Functions, Authentication, Crashlytics
• OpenAI — AI email drafting (Pro tier only, service name only transmitted)

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

NinjaX is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or always available
• Renewal alerts will always fire on time on all Android devices or OS versions
• Auto-detected subscription data will be complete or accurate
• AI-generated emails will result in successful cancellations

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CryptonStudio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Subscription charges that occur despite using the App
• Missed renewal alerts due to device or OS limitations
• Any financial loss arising from reliance on AI-drafted emails or App data
• Data loss resulting from uninstalling the App or device failure

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

15. Updates and Changes

We reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue the App or any features at any time. We may also modify these Terms at any time with notice via the App or this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation, and if unresolved, through binding arbitration or courts of competent jurisdiction.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and NinjaX regarding your use of the App and supersede all prior agreements.
